The saying "don't judge a book by its cover" could have been penned for this place. On the outside it looks more like any old independent pizza takeaway, and stepping inside doesn't really change that impression - with 3 4-seater tables squeezed along one wall and some bar stool-style seating along the other, looking nothing at all like a typical Italian restaurant.
But what do we visit restaurants for? The food of course, and oh my, does Pizzeria Triangolo deliver in that department. As befits its name, the menu is heavy on pizzas, though there is still quite a lengthy selection of pasta dishes to choose from too, and as it's all cooked fresh to order, changes are easily accommodated if you'd prefer to have a particular ingredient left out, or something added.
Between the four of us, we had 3 different pizzas, a pasta dish, and a starter of garlic & cheese pizza bread, and given the empty plates and satisfied looks on all our faces at the end of the meal, there's no doubt that the food here is top notch. Including drinks, the whole meal came to a smidge under 60 quid, which for 4 people in a tourist venue is pretty decent value for money.

Never heard of this place until an italian i got all buddied with suggested we meet here and have dinner before he went back. Safe to say this place is one of the best places i've dined at in a loooong minute.
Food was great, and very filling lol, owner was sound and friendly, and overall me and the people i was dining with had a great time, even ran into an old associate from my school days, and the night just divuldged into a nice hearty convo with everyone present over good food.
If you're a uni student looking for a night out with some people you just met, or a couple looking for a night out, or even just a loner looking for something to eat, here's the place. If you can grab one of the limited spaces in the shop (then again the small size adds to the cozy atmosphere), then this is the place to go.
10/10 Thank you for...
Read moreWe wanted to eat late (after 10pm) which is almost impossible in Bournemouth as everything closes early, even weekends. We walked around & found this pizza place, so glad we did because the pizzas are delicious. Pizza base is hand made & you can really taste the love that goes into the dough, while the toppings were wonderful with authentic flavours & the guy making our pizza was happy to chat too, very friendly. Despite an extensive pizza menu, we wanted to choose our own toppings, while adding extra bits to another menu offering & he was happy to oblige us. Inside it looks cramped & not very welcoming, so there could be improvement but it is cosy. This pizza is a taste of delicious Italy in Bournemouth, you're denying your tastebuds joy if you're eating...
