Twelve Eatery — Restaurant in Great Britain

Just looking from the outside you can tell you’re in for a treat . The window display is so welcoming and the fact the restaurant was busy is another good sign. In previous restaurants staff seem reluctant to take a table of one but these gents were not phased by the fact I was a solo diner.

After being shown to a table I was given a QR code to scan for the menu. A drinks order was promptly taken and arrived with a smile from the barman a couple of minutes later

The Menu looked so yummy I didn’t know where to begin. Olives are always a go to for me so I ordered some olives and The Beetroot Tartare to begin The dish was presented so beautifully I almost didn’t want to eat it. Every element was so thoughtfully put together.

For Main course I was greedy I ordered two … and a side I was so torn and had been recommended the burger from a lady I had met while out for dinner in a different town two nights before (she also recommended this restaurant) The burger was Devine and all the components smoked cheese,Ghirkins,Tomato,Lettuce and burger sauce really made it The second main was the special of the day this was rice noodles with vegetables and cashews again just spectacular A side of Mac N Cheese accompanied the mains but was not needed due to the generous portions.

I asked for baileys or something alike Greg suggested a whiskey cream over ice they make themselves This was smooth nutty and a pleasant end to the meal Well that’s what I thought but my arm was twisted to try the cheesecake again Fabulous

I ate the cheesecake forgetting to take a photo 🤦‍♂️

Probably the best meal I’ve had out so far this year

With the bill you receive a postcard advertising the eatery and with a lovely picture I of bournemouth pier on great idea

I’m now stuffed in my hotel room in a food coma

Planning to go back for lunch tomorrow :)

(I wanted to leave this on trip advisor as I don’t use Google often but I can’t...

Never again. Made me physically ill all night and the next day. Also husband was ill from it. Food tasted like glue, was a sticky guey mass, absolutely disgusting, even the "bread roll" wasn't proper bread but "gue" sticking to teeth, all a horrid taste. But i was brought up with manners so its obviously rude to tell the very hospitable staff this. I thought I'd be safe with the dessert, surely made of real fruit... but no... more glue like stodge, horrible bittiness... dread to think what we actually ate, were never asked if allergic to anything, no idea what food was made of.

I was vegetarian for 15 years, which meant eating fresh fruit veg, healthy real food, not processed blobs. I didnt realise vegan is unhealthy processed stuff which i need to avoid for my kidney function, so very annoyed i wasnt told this. My diet is strictly non processed food, non salt, non sugar, (unless in fruit naturally).

We felt it was deceptive the menu outside saying burgers etc all menu items sounded like real meat... why be vegan and want to eat something which looks and sounds like meat? Makes no sense... i never ate anything that looked remotely like meat when i was veggie, just healthy real freshly made, natural, non-processed food!

Tanyrate, not knowing it was vegan we were led to seats inside where the ambience was lovely, by a very friendly pleasant man. Once we were settled we were told all food was plant based! Having been veggie for years i thought id try it, so my hubby and friend said ok. Hence we ate and i really wished we hadnt. I have never felt/been so physically sick after eating before as this.

I refuse to let it spoil our day out so tried to forget it but it still bugs me so...

TWELVE EATERY vegan restaurant in Bournemouth is definitely world class. I cannot understand why they are tucked away so far. The service here is exceptional and not to mention the taste of the food. The taste is just mouth watering and has this clean taste about the food that is just indescribable. Everything is made freshly from scratch!! Presentation 5*+ Food 5**+ Eco friendly napkins Very reasonable priced . Very clean and comfortable seating + good music. There is so much to order from you just couldn’t get bored not even if you tried.

They do DESERVE another award for BEST Vegan restaurant 2022.

Luc+Greg served us while we visited for dinner they are fantastic and funny as well. They keep checking in on us to find out if we were okay. Thanks as well to the talented chefs they were always smiling as they worked. Keep up the good work. You’ve got a great team of staff at the TWELVE Eatery!!! I ordered the Rib-steak with creamy mash that tasted amazing. Tempeh Schnitzel my husband enjoyed every bit - his plate was cleaned . Top class cheese cake not sweet just perfect and melts in your mouth. When you go to Twelve please you must try the Dulce de leche cheese cake. My husband enjoyed the Affagato it was finished in a blink of an eye.

Visited again with the family for Brunch, again NOT disappointed. B-Twelve Burger is a must have+ must try Tofu bacon & spring onion scrambled tofu served on toasted English muffin is amazing . My daughter had the pancakes with chocolate and banana she enjoyed it although she’s not vegan. We had complimentary cheese cake Wish there was a branch in London
