Portobello, Congleton — Restaurant in England

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I have collected stamps and I have £10 in discount. When I try to place an order they refuse it as it would only cost £4. They shouldn’t have this promotion code if they are going to do that, it’s wrong. Not to mention the staff are incredibly rude and abrupt. Don’t order from here there’s much better takeaways such as cheeky chicken and sizzlers. UPDATED VERSION: and no I did not request a refund for something I didn’t receive. I requested a refund as the staff were rude and this is an option for a refund when using just eat. I reported how rude the driver was to just eat and requested a refund through them as one of the options for a refund is because you have received POOR customer service. Absolutely awful place. Like I said, please order from cheeky chicken or sizzlers as they have NICE staff and produce the best quality food. Portobello is the WORSE takeaway in Congleton....

Racists especially the lady who answered the phone. Oh my God. I just experienced Racism from this place. I called to order for a pizza, from the beginning, immediately she heard my accent, she started giving me really bad attitude. gave her the first line of my postcode and guess she started shouting at me saying she can’t accept my order if she can’t understand what am saying when I was clearly speaking good English. I kept repeating my postcode so she could at least pretend and take my order but guess what, she hung up on me. This behavior is unacceptable. RACISM is unacceptable. She blatantly told me they don’t accept orders from people from my country. She basically means they don’t accept orders from black people. I can’t believe how unhappy the lady who answered the call is....

Ordered burgers for myself and the mrs.

They werent the best, but a few hours later we both developed intense abdominal pain and diarrhoea which lasted all night into the next day.

The pain was so intense it felt like i had crushed glass inside me.

An absolutely horrific experience to be honest.

I've reported them to environmental health, which is something I would only do in an extreme situation.

I honestly cannot describe the agony accurately enough, but I dread to think what their hygiene standards are for someone to become this illI so rapidly. It must have been something pretty serious .
