Just need to leave a review for the team and the amazing service since the Queens Head has been reopened. The pub has a great atmosphere and something for everyone here. It has multiple screens for showing sport but different areas to suit those who do not wish to see tv. The Sunday roast is superb and plenty of food and cooked to perfection. I was asked if everything is ok giving a personal touch to the experience. The Sunday roast is £12.95 with a pint, exceptional value on a Sunday. I’ve also eaten other times and food is always fantastic. The pub is clean and tidy and the staff are all lovely. The bar is very reasonably priced and I have not had a bad drink here yet. This is a must goto for Minehead visitors or locals, give it a go you won’t be disappointed. Massive thank you to Simon and the team for supplying us a fantastic dog friendly pub in Minehead.

Absolutely had to leave a review for this one – and I never leave reviews! 😄 Just had a Sunday roast at The Queen’s Head in Minehead and honestly… WOW. Massive portions (you definitely won’t leave hungry!), the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and there was such a great variety of sides – proper comfort food done right. You can really tell they care about what they’re serving. If you’re anywhere near Minehead on a Sunday, do yourself a favour and book a table here – highly, highly recommend! 👏🍽️

Visited this awesome little charming pub set back from the shops to celebrate my 42 birthday on Christmas Eve. Played snooker with the father in law for a few hours also enjoyed the use of the wall mounted music system, listening to songs from 1974. Awesome decor. Well looked after snooker tables. Whilst enjoying a few ciders. Staff very welcome. And gave use both a warm welcome followed by thanking us for our custom. Can highly recommend this pub

Disappointing visit to Queens's Head Saturday 1st March. I had previously visited the bar and discussed my daughter's Hen Party for 1st March on two occasions. Initially to discuss numbers and seating arrangements, a second visit was to confirm a party for 12 and it was agreed a table would be reserved in the raised area of the bar for 8pm. I left my mobile number in case contact was needed. We arrived on time, I went up to the bar to advise we had arrived and to say unfortunately two 'Hens' were unable to attend. I enquired if we order at the bar and advised to do so. Imagine my surprise and disappointment to discover there was no table reserved. We managed to drag a couple of tables together then chose our food. Returning to the bar I was asked to move to another till to order, no problem to my disappointment I was told by another staff member the kitchen was closed!!! This booking was made a few weeks ago & confirmed last week. I discussed with the new owner our disappointment I had 10 'Hens' that needed feeding!! The new owner advised me they were just back from holiday, and didn't recognise who the member of staff was that took the booking, acknowledging it was in the diary. We were then told they would re-open the kitchen, we decided however The Queens Head did not deserve our custom or our money & I understand this is not the first time the kitchen had been closed early leaving disappointed guests. We left the pub, walked 50yds to the Chinese Restaurant who welcomed us, had a great evening with good food and atmosphere. Point to note all the 'Hens' are local potential clients, a disappointing experience, we will not...

Me and my husband, ordered 2 meals at the queenshead.after 30 mins only my husbands meal arrived, I was told by a member off staff that my meal would be late because the chef dropped my meal taken it out from the microwave and will have to cook another, I ordered a side dish with my meal which was a portion chips, however the chips came 15 mins before the main meal, as the chips had gone cold I asked the bar staff if the chef would heat my chips as they went cold waiting for my meal, I was then told by the same staff that the chef is refusing to heat my chips because it is a side dish, and not part of my main meal, after asking to speak to the chef about this she repeated what the bar staff says , and refused to heat up a portion chips. Me and my husband had to eat separately due to my meal coming out 30 mins later, and to be told by the chef personally that she was refusing heat up a portion of chips is terrible, me and my husband will never eat...

had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Queens Head Inn! From the moment walked in, I was greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that instantly made me feel welcome. The staff are genuinely attentive, polite, and go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. The food was excellent -freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The menu has a great mix of classic pub favourites and some tasty specials, all at very reasonable prices. The drinks selection is impressive too, with a great choice of beers, ales, and wines to suit any taste. The pub itself is full of charm, with a cosy and inviting interior that's perfect for a relaxed meal or just a drink with friends. Overall, the Queens Head Inn delivers on everything you'd want from a great local pub excellent service, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Highly...
