After visiting the Queens head for Christmas lunch whilst visiting Newbiggin for Christmas we decided to return for New Year’s Eve dinner and a stay over in the Queens head accommodation. On arrival staff were welcoming & offering to carry some of our luggage, on taking us to our room. We were advised of how items worked in the room TV etc & what time continental breakfast would be served the next morning. On entering the room it was warm and welcoming looking very comfortable in size for 3 adults in a triple room, plenty of storage , coat hangers hairdryer. The room was decorated and furnished to a high standard. The tea tray was well stocked with teas, coffees, milk sugar and biscuits. The bathroom had a walk in shower including guest toiletry’s the towels were white & fluffy the bathroom was warm with a relaxing atmosphere. Every aspect of this room was excellent the beds & pillows were comfortable the white bedding was spotless. The room was dog friendly however you could not identify that a pet had stayed in this room no odour no dirty carpets. Our New Year’s Eve dinner did not disappoint 5 courses with 2 of them complimentary again Ala Carte standard price was amazing . Lucy attended to all our needs throughout the evening very hard working young lady deserves some recognition for her contribution that makes the service at the Queens head 5 star. Again well done James you and your team work so hard nothing is to much. If your looking for a friendly welcome good food and a comfy bed try the Queens head you won’t be disappointed (FABULOUS) ...
