Quaint family run pub situated just off Newbiggin by the sea promenade, opposite the bandstand and Bertorelli's ice cream parlour. I often pop in with the dog on a Sunday afternoon after a walk along the prom and I'm met with pleasant smiles and open arms in the bar side of the pub. Don't be scared of their dog with your dog, he's fine as long as rules are kept too and dogs are kept on a leash. Tables are situated outside too though for warm days and water is provided for dogs. Inside the pub on the bar side is located the darts boards, men's toilets, access to the yard for smokers, a TV , fruit machine, Juke box, Domino's and various tables and comfortable seating. In the lounge area of the pub is where the band's play. At the time of visiting I believe it was becoming buskers night, I only paid a quick visit to the lounge this time as this is where the ladies toilet's are located. The Coble has music on quite a bit and the lounge has adequate seating. The prices are good and the array of drinks is vast. Whether it's a lazy Sunday or a night out the Coble is a...
