Rappor Lounge — Restaurant in England

We've been regular customers for the last seven years and have overlooked several issues but after today, we'll be taking our custom elsewhere. The following issue could easily have been rectified if the had manager shown an interest and taken some accountability.

We arrived today at 11:55 and ordered food straightaway. Forty minutes later and we still hadn't received our order. As our three year old was getting fussy, we asked waitress who said she would find out.

When she returned, she apologised and explained that our order had been lost. This is the first time, in any restaurant, an order has been lost. How, in a café, with only two other groups of customer, this issue wasn't spotted, I'll never know.

She then explained that she had previously queried this with the manager. Despite this, no one had come over to us to ask and it was left to me to ask. While this was happening, the manager continued to play with Christmas decorations and occasionally glance over. We were asked how we would like to proceed by the waitress. We were charged for our drinks and left with no effort of an apology...

I don’t usually complain but having been a customer for a few years now I’m really disappointed with the service we’ve received recently. The last two times I have visited, we ordered food and drinks and the drinks turned up quickly but after 45 minutes we still hadn’t received our food. The first time we were told that our order had been forgotten and we were offered free drinks while we waited. The waitress was very apologetic and couldn’t fault the service after this. However this time the waitress who took our order and wrote it out in front of us told us that the order hadn’t been written down… For it to happen once fair enough it may just be a genuine mistake but to happen twice is a bit ridiculous. We go in here every Saturday and the last few weeks have been very disappointing there is a new girl and she hovers over you waiting for you to finish to take your cup or plate ,my sister went to loo and she took her drink that was quarter full then stood over her daughter why she was drinking hers soon as she put glass down she took it ,this week again she came to clear up and I actually told her we not all fin can you wait she looked pissed off and walked off the jacket was on point as always but the cake was stale I'm a cake maker so was disappointed 😞 we just feel we get rushed out everything we have been lately I think the new girl needs some extra training we said we are going again once more and if things don't change we will change cafe what was once a lovely place now feels like we aren't welcome shame really as other...
