Ruby's cafe — Restaurant in England

The breakfast was served lukewarm the best item was the fried egg, the only thing that was hot. Lukewarm canned tomatoes baked beans sliced mushroomd sausage is not recommended. The toast was already buttered and was cold. The two cups of teas were lovely and hot. We visited this cafe on the strengths of the reviews. We were disappointed also advertised were two breakfasts for £12 with tea/coffee included. This certainly was not the case, we were charged more, and the drinks were not included. Consistently well cooked brekkie, proper tea, fab homemade cake, good prices. what not too like? hhmm on last visit cafe staff being verbally harrased and bullied by two of the gambling arcade customers. felt insecure and uncomfortable afterwards, especially with the open plan access too amusement area. Put a wall inbetween and be a five star fab place to go for food and/or cake n coffee break. I have asked the question - Smaller portion meals can be provided too customers, only exception are the Specials, they are made too specific...

A fairly polite lady took my order over the counter; their "huge" latte with added hazelnut syrup (an extra 40p). The beverage was made in front of me and the staff member didn't once touch any of the syrup bottles. Once the latte was given to me, I asked if the syrup had been added hoping to trigger her memory so I didn't miss out. "Yes" was the response, which was clearly incorrect.
