Seaham Lighthouse Cafe by Poppies — Restaurant in England

Called in randomly this morning for breakfast, as we were in Seaham for the market. Well presented cafe with a friendly vibe. Moving onto to the food, great prices on the menu and fantastic selection. I’ve had a few breakfast in my time and I don’t like the word perfect but this was close. The breakfast was cooked fantastically. The hash browns had a “different from Normal taste”, gorgeous! The sausages were out of this world with a taste I’ve never had before. Nothing was over done, everything was cooked brilliantly and the black pudding (cost a little extra with the large breakfast)……..I’m going to say it……was the best black pudding I’ve ever tasted. This café is truly an excellent meeting spot. Both its interior and exterior are spacious and stylishly decorated. The coffee is fresh and aromatic, and you can feel its quality in every sip. The desserts and snacks on the menu are also very delicious and varied. The staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. It's an ideal place to work, read a book, or spend quality time with friends. Free Wi-Fi and comfortable seating areas make it even more appealing. Prices are quite reasonable as well. We ordered 2 large breakfasts they brought out 1 large and 1 small,they took both of them away and when she returned with 2 large ones the were not very warm. Both of us left best part of the breakfasts and left. Definitely won't be going back.
