Lovely little bar in a great location and with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This bar is adjoining Slice pizza and you can eat pizza you order in here which is excellent and a real added bonus. To bump up to a fifth star I would love to see a bit more beer variety, perhaps with a guest beer pump or some craft ale cans and bottles in the fridge. Would still be more than happy to return though, especially when the pizza shop is open too!

Really good little pub situated at the bottom of Church Street. We called in on saturday afternoon and it was quite busy and had a good friendly atmosphere. There is a good selection of beers behind the bar. The decor was great , the only down side was there is only one toilet for all the clientele . Will definitely call next time we are in Seaham if they are open

Charming local bar with some truly unique features. A warm welcome is always available. A lovely watering hole for the Seaham RUFC lads to frequent. Give it a try - you'll love it.

Unique pub at the bottom of Seaham High St. Decor related to local mining history gives a distinctive and nostalgic feel for anyone with relations to the North East mining industry. A mock pit tunnel and miner underneath the pub itself below a glass panel in the floor! Excellent quality keg ales - I had Darwin Brewery (Sunderland) NEIPA, Firebrick Brewery (Blaydon-on-Tyne) Pale Ale all poured well and tasting great then Cask ale Vaux Brewery (Sunderland) Kolsch Lager. There are a selection of ‘mainstream’ lagers, beers and ciders as well as a selection of spirits, cocktails, soft drinks, hot drinks and bar snacks. Most importantly ITS DOG FRIENDLY! With a lovely log fire burning after a cold walk down the beach hunting for sea glass! A must if you...

I like this place, it is not the largest pub in the local area but it is very well decorated. It has the local history of Seaham pits on the walls which must give a sense of local pride for the pub owners and the people who frequent this pub. It has a good selection of drinks for customers to enjoy. When we were in it had a good atmosphere about the place, it was a saturday afternoon, a few groups and a few couples so a good mixture. I will definetly go in again next time I...
