Used to regularly drop in here on our motorbikes but it's just gone through so much change and the food has definitely been a victim of that. Bought 4 large granary rolls last weekend - tasted stale. Dry and tasteless. The pasties are greasy and the cakes are so sugary its hard to taste anything over the layer of sugar left on your teeth. The service has also suffered as instead of the friendly face greeting you, they can barely see over the high counter, there is a chaotic system by way of which way to queue and customers end up losing tempers at one another trying to figure out which way to stand before being served - staff then grunt or scowl when serving you. There is a treats table that was covered in flies and not all the items were covered over so goodness knows who is buying those.... Pretty sure we won't go back now. Only given 3 stars because they do a decent coffee and the meat and potato pies & sausage...
Read moreWas given the Seasons Bakery as a suggestion to pick up some sandwiches after a walk around Ribblehead Viaduct. It was amazing so much more than a bakery, beautiful breads, luscious cakes, tasty sandwiches and pies and sausages rolls etc. There would be something for every time of day and everyone! We only managed half of everything and ate it later for tea and although cold still delicious. We are going to make a detour pass on our way home 😊. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We sat outside because it was a very warm day but had a lovely seating area inside where you could chat and eat cake very...

The bakery savoury items look great under the lights with the glazed tops, pies with domed lids, pastry slices puffed up to a huge size, but in reality the pies tops are hollow, the slices have a very small amount of filling to an unnecessary amount of pastry.
I was about to purchase a loaf of sourdough bread but saw the price of £3.95 and drew the line. The food is OK but nothing outstanding and certainly doesn't justify the prices.
2 savoury slices, 1 gingerbread pumpkin, 1 sausage roll, pack of 4 mince pies, a pasty and a cupcake. 2 cold...
