Nice food but extremely disappointing service.

We booked a table of 9 which included 4 young children. I wouldn't say the restaurant was overly busy when we arrived, however it took over 45 mins for anyone our order for drinks let alone food! After several prompts to take our order, it must have been an hour in before our food order was taken. Our party at this point had enough, the children were starving and restless. Some in our party wanted to move on, but we agreed to stick it out. We had requested that the children's meals come out first and alongside adult starters but unfortunately they arrived with the rest of the mains. Also some dishes unfortunately failed to arrive.

The food when it arrived was nice, but the evening was unfortunately ruined by the poor service. Finally when the bill arrived, there was over £70 of items that we hadn't ordered and we were still being charged for items that we'd ordered but hadn't arrived. I understand this was down to a computer error and some dishes had been doubled counted, so not an intentional mistake by the restaurant but unfortunately added to the overall poor service. I had also paid a deposit which was not reflected in the final bill, but I didn't realise this until next day.

Overall very disappointing evening and wish we'd booked elsewhere. Tbf the food was nice when it arrived, but unlikely to return due to...

Unfortunately I can't leave a 0 stars review! My partner and I booked a meal here for 2100hrs today. We walked in and were directed to the sanitizer and had our temperature taken. We then sat down and my partner noticed the ceiling was leaking water directly behind me from a light fitting!!!!! What!!!?? I looked round and observed fresh water dripping down on my coat which was on the back of my chair and on to the back of my t-shirt!!!! We asked if we could be moved and the staff member acknowledged the leak situation, laughing about it saying that they have already tried to fix it before!!! Thats ok then mate!!!! What!!!!??? Having been moved we were then rushed through our meal due to current restrictions (which i can understand). The food was served and it was bland, nothing special, bland. Horrible experience which we were charged full price for aswell. Wont be going here again and will be telling friends and family all about our experience too!!! How can they accept our custom for a three course meal at 2100hrs when they want us our at 2200hrs!!!!!!?????? It left my partner with heart burn and indigestion! She had to take the remainder of her meal away in a tray. Awful,...
