SLAMBURGER® Aylesbury - Halal Burgers — Restaurant in England

When I arrived to collect my takeaway order I noticed the chap in the kitchen/prep area behind the tills was chomping away at food whilst preparing orders, not very hygienic and not a good look. Ordered a chicken fillet burger as part of a larger order. Got home, took one bite out of it and realised it was extremely spicy, which is a problem for me due to health reasons, not that I don't like spicy food. There's nothing on the description when ordering to say the fillet burger is spicy. Called up to see if there was a mistake and the manager told me it comes like that. I expressed it's not advertised as that but manager wasn't really interested, didn't offer another burger or refund. Oh well, won't be going back here again. The rest of the food was like a poor man's McDonalds, if there is such a thing, so probably wouldn't go...

Placed an order at 7:55pm today and was expecting it to arrive 15 to 20 mins after, giving real meaning to the words “fast food”. After numerous calls to the restaurant they informed us on our 3rd call which was at 8:45pm it would arrive in 15 mins. It actually arrived at 9:19pm. The distance to from our house to the restaurant is under 1 mile, which effectively means we could have walked and got it faster. The food arrived lukewarm and that is me being generous. The restaurant wasn’t taking into account the fact that we order regularly and the response that was given was something I don’t think anyone in that same situation would find acceptable.

All in all it was very disappointing and would certainly reconsider before choosing from...

Ordered delivery yesterday using their own website. The food supposed to be delivered within 35 mins but took over an hour. I called them several times for an update as there’s no way to track and no communication from their end but each time my calls cuts off by itself after 1 min of ringing. When the food finally arrived, the chips was cold and soggy, grilled chicken was super chewy as if it’s over cooked and the kebab roll was also cold and tasteless. Never again.

Update as of 28/06/22: Sent them an email on 09/06 with all evidence as requested. Followed up on 22/06 for an update or at least an acknowledgment, still no response up until this moment. Waste of time. Don’t bother complaining if you had a bad experience....
