Good sleep...A few problems with communication as far as being told parking available on arrival then told when we got there its first come first serve basis so had to park away from hotel.. Hot water tap in bathroom sink broken unfortunately no TV service available due to a fire ( not in there control) but an email or call would of been nice to let us know as we could of brought laptops or ipad to view during our stay. Think what bothered me aswell was that I checked down stairs at 6am to inquire if they had any filterd coffee as cant drink instant and was told no as kitchen was closed but breakfast starts at 7?? Surely someone is in the kitchen prepping for breakfast I feel as if he couldn't be asked or even care to inquire for me.I thanked him and recieved no reply just contiined on with looking at what i assumed was his phone screen? service is so crucial and really i don't think it would of put him out to see if someone could put a pot of coffee on .was even willing to pay for it even though it was included in my full breakfast I payed for the day before. No mention of "we will just be with you in a moment from either staff behind the counter. This is something I would happily overlook as the cafe will be approaching closing time and jobs will be done ahead of close. However customers waiting always take precedent of these tasks. A little acknowledgement goes a long way.
However, it was only when the blonde hair female staff member asked us if she could serve the lady in the queue behind us with no explanation that we decided to walk out. Even when we headed for the door, no attempt to explain was made.
A real pity, when we've generally received good service. At £10 a visit, you've lost a customer unless I get some sort of direct response here, which judging by other comments no one bothers to reach out from...

7 tables around me are not cleared away, all need wiping, and the floor is littered with dirty napkins and wrappers.
It is 6pm but they are open until 9. Not terribly impressive.
The staff were pleasant, friendly & polite. But there is no queue and no-one is clearing tables. I cleared a table myself so we had somewhere to sit!
My son thinks I am being harsh because the coffee is good, even if there isnāt a fancy leaf design on my drink like I get at Costa! And the seats are comfy as well.
Whilst Iām writing this someone has finally started to clear up, albeit only two tables, so Iāve bumped this review up to 3 stars
