Subway — Restaurant in England

Food was fine, but incredibly slow. All of the restaurants were understaffed at the time of my visit. Burger king had one employee on the till, one employee in the kitchen, with about 10 customers waiting to be served. I opted for subway, again, two people, one on the till one on the food. 6 people queuing , so I went with subway. After about 15 mins queueing, it was finally my turn, however I ended up holding up those behind me because there was not enough change in the till. "I'll be right there with your change" she says, before unpacking food and serving the next customer. I walked off without my change. Unfortunately the worst services ive been to.

Whilst it's understandable that services like this are going to be busy, there's clearly demand so why are there just 1 (Gregg's) or 2 people (subway burger...

The place was busy, so I'll give the staff credit for handling that well. The man that was putting the subs in to be toasted was so polite and went the extra mile. However, the girl he was working with really let him down, I asked her for lettuce out of the fresher container, considering the lettuce that was already open looked like the absoloute dregs and was looking pretty defeated. She told me she wasn't opening that one until the lettuce was gone. Don't get me wrong, if that's the way it is, then that's the way it is, but don't come across with an attitude to me because you don't like your job. She's also happily willing to stand there in front of customers and wipe away the sweat from her face while claiming it'll be "the death of me this will". Pretty...

Stood in line for 5 minutes to watch 4 members of staff flap around looking like they had no idea what they were doing.

Finally ordered and member of staff made one sub and left it out for a further five minutes waiting for the salad section to finish a large order. During this time we were completely ignored as we're the 5 people in the queue behind me, and rest of what I had ordered wasn't even started on.

I walked away because the staff were just useless.

The time before this they had put the wrong sauce in my sub and provided no cutlery for a takeaway salad bowl.
