We were visiting Looe Town yesterday feeling hungry. Not knowing the place very well we saw another cafe opposite the car park and had a cooked breakfast there. We walked around town afterwards and found TASTY CORNER. I can't believe the difference of the atmosphere, prices of foods, excellent views, cleanliness, the warmth of their place and the friendly staff compared to the other cafe we had breakfast previously. We enjoyed our freshly cooked scones and are very happy we found Tasty Corner, we will be going back there again for a tasty full English breakfast.

Wanted me to wear a mask to walk *four feet* to the nearest table inside the door (I'm disabled, walk with a stick and had to walk back to the car to get a mask). Image attached to show distance from my seat to the door. Staff unable to understand "leave the teabag out". Irrespective of the quality of the food - which hasn't arrived yet - I'm struggling to score higher than this. Plus they don't have toilets, they direct you over the road to some public toilets (probably 50p to pee), not ideal if you have bladder / continence issues.

Visited 08/07/23 for a late lunchtime snack. Warm welcome from staff. 2 x cream teas. Two nice large homemade scones each with cream and jam. Coffee as ordered. We came across this side of the river as it is quieter; the other side all the cafe's are packed on this Saturday afternoon. Staff nice too. No loos available, only the ones over the road. Conveniently the cafe is next to where the buses terminate, so good place to have a drink while waiting.

I visited here for a breakfast as i thought it looked a nice small friendly place. I've travelled and had breakfasts all over the UK. The all day breakfast here was mediocre for the price, not the most fulfilling at £7.00. I didn't order a drink ( which seemed to come as a shock to the server that im not a tea/coffee drinker) (shock/horror)😂 besides, my thirst was quenched earlier at another establishment 😊 I Ordered my food, got my money out to pay, she didn't take it( oh you pay after eating it seems) After finishing I made the genuine mistake of leaving without paying (due to me being used to paying for food when ordering rather than after eating) the determined chef chased me down with a face like thunder🤨 After apologising and explaining the genuine reason and paying his face remained unchanged like a wet weekend on the sunniest day of the year! Come to think of it I never saw a smile from any staff member while I was there (I must not look like a local) These small cafe's treat their customers like common dirt when they rely on our custom. I'm not surprised they don't manage to stay open. I'm from a town and I can get a huge breakfast at Tesco for £5.00 though thats not the issue. These places should be grateful. This seems to be a case of if your face doesnt fit you dont get made welcome! Its not asking much to treat everyone the same regardless of who they are or where they're from and to be a little cheerful to ALL customers and not just the...

Been here before in the past and 11 of us went here for a final holiday breakfast. It was very disappointing. Had hairs in 3 of the meals. Fluff on another meal’s poached eggs!? Had to send the vege breakfast back that had 3 hairs in it…2 short and one long !! The waitress was lovely and apologised offered a replacement meal . Daughter didn’t want another ans she was put off! Pointed out the issue to the manager as he collected the plates at the end. Showed him a hair on edge of plate he just brushed it off . No apology! Just said “we’ve never had that before”? Like we’re lying ????? Sorry would have been a more appropriate response !? They took the vege meal and drink off the bill, but it wasn’t about the money, damage done I’m afraid! Not a place we will return again...

Went for breakfast while holidaying from London with my wife, ordered the full English breakfast with a tea for my wife and a coffee for myself, staff took my order quickly and then waited a fair while for the food to arrive, and i use the term 'food'very loosely,i can honestly say it is the worst breakfast that my wife or myself has ever had, appalling chipolatas which were deep fried, tasteless bacon, microwaved beans, horrible tomatoes and inedible fried slice, the only item that was ok was the fried egg although this was unbelievably greasy, the coffee was like a watered down latte and my wife tells me the tea was not very good either, all for £26.25!!!, I'll gladly pay London prices for good ingredients but not for rubbish like...
