Thailicious (owner) a week ago We appreciate your feedback and apologise for the inconveniences you faced during your visit to Thailicious.
Due to unexpected staff shortages, we encountered challenges in providing our usual prompt service. Despite these issues, we did our best to mitigate the situation by offering complimentary drinks and starters that you received. We understand the urgency of your theater plans and regret any disruption caused.
We are a small family run restaurant and are constantly learning and will strive to improve our service. This is our first ever 1 star review which has saddened all of us as we always aim to please our customers.

Read moreI’ve been a regular customer and have enjoyed the Thai food from here in the past, but unfortunately, my recent delivery experience was very disappointing. I ordered Pad Thai and Tom Yum seafood soup, and both were not up to the usual standard.
The Tom Yum soup, in particular, was unrecognisable —it was completely clear and lacked the signature spicy, sour, and slightly reddish colour and flavour you’d expect. I’ve had Tom Yum many times over the years, both in the UK and in Thailand, and sadly, this version didn’t come close. It tasted only salty, with none of the depth or balance of traditional Tom Yum.
I even contacted Uber Eats, but they said they couldn’t help with taste issues and suggested I leave a review to give the restaurant feedback. I genuinely feel like I didn’t receive the food I ordered, which is very disappointing given the cost.
While I was tempted to leave a 1-star review, I’ve decided on a slightly higher rating in the hope that this was just a one-off mistake. I really do want to continue supporting local businesses, but I also hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and maintains the quality I know...
Read moreI'm writing to share my recent experience . I was really looking forward to try thing your food .
However, I have to say I was disappointed by the service. When I came in to order, it felt a bit awkward, almost like I was interrupting something. It just made me feel a bit uncomfortable right from the start.
Later, when I came back to pick up my food, the workers rolled their eyes at me which I think is very rude . They then quickly switched to being overly nice, which felt very insincere. Honestly, it was pretty off-putting. As a customer, I just expect to be treated with a basic level of respect when I come into a business.
The food itself was decent, but the way I was treated by the staff really overshadowed everything. It's a shame, because I had high hopes for the place.
Because of this, I don't think I'd recommend Thailicious to others, and I'm not sure I'll be returning myself. It's disappointing when the staff's attitude ruins what could otherwise be a good meal.
I hope this feedback helps you address...
