The Baguette Bar — Restaurant in England

Shaftesbury has plenty of lunch options where you can find delicious food all made from locally sourced ingredients, it’s just this place isn’t one of them.

Absolutely drowns in mediocrity when compared to what else Shaftesbury has to offer.

Typical bog standard cash n carry bought stuff using part bake baguettes, anaemic tomatoes that aren’t ripe, Awful chicken that I suspect was water injected as it was rather slimy.

As far as quality goes there are simply no positives worthy of mention.

I dont quite know what else to say about this place? Will I be back? Not likely!

If I was to set up a similar establishment would it be better? Damn right it would be! First port of call - Decent bread!

Rude lady..... Only popped in for a quick bite to eat but i saw her talking down to and belittling a potential new employee on a job interview instead. The owner was using the wrong chopping boards for cooked and uncooked meats and informing the poor interviewee that she was wrong. (A quick google search in fact confirmed that the girl was right and the lady was wrong). This place should be shut down, cross contamination in this period is a big concern.
