Passed thru Shaftesbury today, stopped for a walk around and saw Reeve The Baker. Went in just after a snack, saw a Pork and chorizo sausage roll and a pasty. The super friendly guy at the counter asked if I needed a hand and I mentioned my conundrum. He said he recommends the sausage roll. So I got it. I also got the pasty.... 👀 Coming all the way from New Zealand, I never thought I'd find the greatest sausage roll I've ever had. But gosh darn, my mind was blown at how good it was. The pasty was also amazing. Would definitely return here if I pass thru town again.

My friend and I were new to English bakeries, so we sampled two items...each....then returned a day later and tried four more: a buttery chocolate twizzle, a glazed donut oozing custard, a flaky Coventry pasty, and a loaf of sourdough that was still excellent three days later. A kind server named Lisa attended to us with utmost patience as we scanned the large assortment of sweet and savory items with the decisiveness of children in a candy shop. Queuing next to us were a couple of cyclists who rode up all the way from Weymouth for a bacon bap.

I recently visited this bakery and had an extremely disappointing experience. The woman working in the shop was blatantly rude to my wife when she asked about the food. It was clear from her attitude and behavior that she harbors racist tendencies. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and has left a very bad impression on us. We expected better from a well-known bakery and will not be returning. I urge others to think twice before supporting a place that condones such disrespectful behavior.

A very nice lady called Lisa assisted me today with my order, unfortunatly due to my military career and losing my hearing to a grenade, i now suffer with PTSD and anxiety. I am excempt from wearing a mask and I was wearing my exemption landyard (Hidden Disability) in store today.

Whilst being served today some customers were talking rudely and loudly outside about me because they had to wait longer than normal. Lisa was extremely helpful and understanding as were all the staff and they did re-educate those rude customers about my exemption lanyard.

Thank to all the Reeves staff in Shaftesbury and your support, i wish more shops and people were this...
