The Coffee House — Restaurant in England

Called in here only because the place we had previously chosen turned out to be closed. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, but it was late afternoon and not much was available. What we had (cream tea) was good - generous portions and good quality. The place is not enormous but there are external and internal areas to sit and it's not too cramped. Stairs at the front entrance make it a little difficult for some to access but the toilets were good. It's situated beside a car park, not far from the canal. Out on a Club Cycle ride and introduced to the Cafe by our ride leader who had visited previously. Still under Covid rules but welcoming staff. We stayed outdoors and only needed to go in to order or for use of the toilet. Great coffee and a great selection of cakes etc some of which were Gluten free which was perfect for one of our riders. I will be calling again and maybe with my wife who is also GF. Oh and not to forget good...

Whenever we are in Skipton this little café is always a great stop for us. Whether it is a quick stop for a cup of coffee or a longer stop for a light lunch after a walk through Skipton Woods, it is a place we always return to.

Seats are available inside and out; sometimes there may be a wait which emphasises it's popularity. Service is friendly and very efficient. The food we have enjoyed is always delicious....
