Lovely traditional pub! Visited here whilst in Skipton and had a great time. Staff were very welcoming and just so down to earth. The pub has a great theme of the local history and just adds to the traditional character of the pub. The food we had was great and everything was reasonably priced. The outdoor terrace and seating was a nice touch as well and we certainly enjoyed it on the sunny day we visited.

Popped in for lunch, I hadthe big bad wolf sandwich, pulled pork, griddle spam and thick cut smoked bacon. An absolute monster sandwich, possibly 1 of the best sandwiches i have ever had. My wife had prawn and Marie Rose sandwich, again fantastic. Highly recommend the chips, superb. Great choice of real ales, staff are very friendly. Highly recommended

This was a superb pub for drinking, with a red and white design across the interior! The lights hanging down and books on shelves add to its feel, counter has a neat presentation too. I enjoyed a pint of Inch's outside in the sunshine, table was clean too!

Nice pub but the bar staff are rude and cocky.

I asked how much were their pints of lager while gesturing to all the lagers and the barman condescendingly replied "well that depends which ones you want". It wasnt meant to be a hard question so i said ok kronenberg and corrs and then he gave me prices. I ordered a pint of kronenberg which he poured with over an inch of head and then i asked for a pint of diet coke and the barmaid asked how much ice do you want to which i replied just a couple of cubes please. She then sarcastically says "ok i shall count out 2 cubes of ice for you!".

Needless to say we only bought the one drink and probably won't ever go back there.

They show sports on the tvs but with no sound which is a bit stupid when everybody is looking at the TVs. Pints are fosters coors £3.70 kronenberg £4 birra moretti £4.20.

We went to...

We had a meal at this delightful pub last week and it was one of the best pub meals I have ever had. The meal was very well presented and was served hot there was short wait for the meal but it was obviously freshly made. The staff were very well presented and were very attentive with out being overly so. The meal it's self was excellent value for money. I will visit and eat here again and I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. Your...

Entered and was immediately shouted at because I hadn't booked. No one was inside the pub and just wanted a pint. Brother came in seconds later, not wearing a mask due to him being exempt. I was wearing one. We were shouted at and thrown out.

Tried to explain about my brothers exemption but they wouldn't listen. We were in and out in less that 30 seconds.

We are middle age blokes and have never been thrown out of a pub in our lives Thoroughly...
