What a cracking little place. They seem to be really eco conscious, which makes spending here easy. The low ceilings and neutral toned decor gives a sense of calm. Real plants and crafty design features is a feast for the green-fingered type. There is only one toilet which i could see and it was hard to work out if it was occupied or not. I would say the floor space would not work for those in wheelchairs or pushchairs. We did not eat there, however it looked all vegetarian or vegan 🤩🥳 The drinks we had were tasty and were served at our table with a smile. There are board games available to play at no cost.

Great cafe, and should be an essential stop for anyone visiting Looe. Positives: - Super nice venue, well restored building - Nice outdoor seating - Food is absolutely top quality, and well sourced - Prices are very reasonable - Run by locals - Has a bike rack - Good variety of food - Ample vegetarian/vegan options - Good coffee - Staff are all lovely Negatives: - no wifi - music can be a bit loud/upbeat for an otherwise chilled cafe I'd recommend getting: A big ol latte and the mixed toast meal, followed by one of their awesome cakes.

Lovely hidden gem of a vegetarian cafe nestled between two. buildings, it quite hard to miss. Food is absolutely gorgeous, full of flavour and well presented. Even on a busy bank holiday, service was quick. The courtyard not only gives a cosy secluded atmosphere, on blazing hot summers day it can offer some relief to the heat, and since its dog friendly your k9 friend will enjoy the cool, quiet space. Somes seats do still get the sun if you prefer. There are also plenty of tables inside if the weather is not so summery.

Our first experience of the courtyard cafe was truly magical. We got caught in the rain so was looking for shelter and a warm drink and walked through a tunnel into looe’s Narnia in a tasteful, and stylish courtyard. Being a keen gardener, I enjoyed all the flowers on display bringing vibrancy and energy. When we stepped into the cafe we were greeted with warm welcomes from friendly staff.

The cafe has a nice and light airy feel, clean, and spacious, with lots of interesting house plants giving a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered two flat whites and cakes and really enjoyed them.

The second time we went for breakfast I ordered wild mushrooms on focaccia. And my wife had eggs on sourdough toast with avocado. Both presented in a pleasant and eye catching way and tasted delicious. And our son had Jam on toast.

This place is well worth checking out in looe and will make you come back...

Stopped in Looe whilst on holiday in Cornwall with the wife and kids and stumbled across The Courtyard when we were looking for somewhere to get lunch. What we found was a hidden gem. Not the largest of places but nowhere in Looe is. On looking at the prices I was expecting the usual overpriced average food. The prices are about as you'd expect for a small coastal place in Cornwall. The food arrived and it was great and absolutely worth the price. It completely exceeded my expectations. As the name suggests its in a lot lovely quant and quiet Courtyard. We sat inside which is decorated with all sorts of interesting items. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. It was very relaxing and a real breath of fresh air. When we return to Looe this will be the first place we head...

We found this gorgeous little place on a rainy day whilst on holiday in Cornwall. The owner couldn't be more helpful, reserving seats for our party of 8 and calling when it was ready. It was absolutely worth the wait!! Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor and delicious food. Probably the best hummus meal I've eaten anywhere and the homemade beans were delicious... my 3 year old ate them all...tomatoes and onions included. We also enjoyed the little games available to play... my little boy loved the story cubes so much we had to go and buy some. Also the coolest toilet 🚻. Even ordered some of their eco, unbleached toilet roll when we got home! Can't recommend this place...
