The Dessert Emporium — Restaurant in England

Just been in to try the Biscoff pancakes. Could not pay me to return to this place, service was terrible. Nobody told us whether it was table service or if we had to go up and order and I had to go and get my own menus from the till area! Then after we had ordered it had been 30 minutes until staff member came up to us and he apologised and said will be out in 2 minutes, a further 15 minutes went by and still no sign of these pancakes so I decided to go up to a staff member and tell them about the situation as I only had 1 hour parking which should be more than enough to order some pancakes. Staff decided to comp the pancakes for us and put them in a takeaway box so I agreed. After been given the box I asked for cutlery as how am I supposed to eat these without cutlery?? They don’t have plastic cutlery so had to give me 2 metal forks from the restaurant. Gets back to my car and open the box up to see this mess inside. Looks nice from the front ,dont be deceived! dog bowl of water outside so thinking its dog friendly as all good establishment's in Beverley are. No sign on the door about dogs ,stood in queue 5 mins for a take out with my well behaved pup only to be told to go away as dogs not allowed, by a miserable girl behind the counter. This will not last in this dog friendly town ,good riddance to it...
