Greggs — Restaurant in England

Tried the new Cherry Bakewell Muffin at Gregg's next to the Refill Jar in Flemingate, Beverley, and it's absolutely delightful! The muffin is a creative spin on the classic Bakewell tart—soft and fluffy, with sour cherry pieces perfectly complementing the sweet cherry jam inside. The white fondant is just the right amount of sweetness, topped with a classic glacé cherry.

What made the visit even more enjoyable was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience a pleasure. It’s like a little piece of Derbyshire in every bite, served with a smile. Gregg's, you've outdone yourselves with this one! A Bake Off handshake is...

This Greggs has no selection! We are regular morning visitors, as we like to stop off for breakfast on the go with our toddler. The sausage rolls are always lightly warmed or cold. Pastys (including speciality bakes) they never have any on the shelves! I would understand if the shop was quiet, however, the college is literally round the corner and we always have to queue, So why no stock to buy?! I imagine that they lose a heap of business. It's like no one can be bothered or something. So...

Steak bake was supposed to be hot and was barely warm. Coffee ok. Downside was the number of screaming children running around. One little one was left alone whilst her mum went outside to make a telephone call! Will certainly give this a miss in future. Plus side is it is virtually opposite the new Dunelm store which has a beautiful new clean cafe. Wish we had known before wasting...
