Overall disappointing. Tried to order a salad from the set menu only to be told there was no salad in the entire restaurant. So I chose something from the normal menu as the other options were mostly pasta and pizza (not particularly American). Thought they might have offered a discount as their supply issues meant I had to pay more but hey ho. We asked about adding dessert later and were told that was fine. Both the steaks that were ordered had to have other sides with them as there was no salad and were quite dry (sauce was £3 extra). My friend left her chips and half her burger as it was cold and unpleasant. My substitute choice (katsu curry bao buns) were unpleasant and the chips were unseasoned. 9.95 and I left about three quarters of it. The service was pleasant however quite slow despite there being only a couple of other small tables and no one asked at any point how our meals were. Our booking was at 7 and we finally finished our mains at 9.30 whereupon we were told that the kitchen had closed at 9. We asked our server why we hadn't been told when she knew we had wanted desserts. She went back to see what she could do. About 10 minutes later we decided to give up and go for a drink elsewhere. I found our server and another member of staff talking behind the bar and simply asked for the bill. The bill came with no issue but no discount for the poor food or inconveniences. Overall the food wasn't really worth the price. Plus is pasta and pizza really American diner food? The music was good but far too loud and we asked at least twice for it to be turned down. The service was slow and the place seems rather disorganised (who runs out of salad????). Too much was disappointing to bother...
Read moreA couple hours before our time slot we were contacted my a staff member, I think her name was Sarah, I aren’t too sure, my memory is terrible.
We were contact and she politely let us know there was an event happening at 7:30pm and if we’d like to move the time slot. We moved it to 2pm without any issues.
We got there and the place was exactly like you’d expect the experience to be, there was old school music playing on the big screen, the booths were high so no-one could see into your area of eating; it was very Americanised.
The food itself was unbelievably well cooked and to a standard I really enjoyed. Me and my partner ordered the American Afternoon Tea which consisted of 3 layers of food.
-Top Layer: x1 Beef Burger & x1 Chicken. Both were cut in half. -Middle Layer: x4 Southern Fried Chicken & x4 BBQ chicken. Bottom Layer: Half a chocolate drizzled waffle, x2 Macaroons, x1 small Brownie & a handful of fruit. Extras: Pot of Chips, Pot of Hash Browns & a Pot of Onion Rings.
The only issue I had with the food itself was that there wasn’t much meat in the BBQ chicken wings and thought they could have maybe swapped them out for normal breaded chick strips, similar to the southern fried chicken. Also, the food took roughly around 30/35 to come to the table, however, we didn’t see that much of a problem due to the amount of food we ordered.
Other than that, was a really good experience and would definitely plan on going again.

My partner came with my mother in law and said we have to come. So after attending the first quiz which was a really good night, we came for breakfast. We were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff, shown to our seat. My son was given colouring and a word search. We were left for a short time to choose our meal, the choice of breakfast was a good one, the food being delivered to tables near us all looked really good making choosing even more difficult. We ordered drinks, a tea and coffee. The coffee was good, my only gripe was it was not big enough. My partner and mother in law both ordered the early bird sando (1 was changed to suit personal taste with no question for fuss), which when it arrived they looked great. I had steak and eggs, which was lovely. A nicely cooked 4oz steak served with eggs and Tata Tots. The eggs were as I ordered them runny which is a personal taste and they did not disappoint.
The highlight of this place is the highly attentive staff, floor staff who gets down to the kids level to talk to them and make them feel as welcome and as special as the adults and I will say this, they make the place, not just front of house but backroom staff all singing off the same hymn sheet to keep this place as good as this first impression is.
Long may this place stay here and I will be...
