The Fortune Inn — Restaurant in England

The Chinese is at the back of a local pub but don't let that effect your decision to eat from here. I am not a local, but I make the journey here because their food is extremely tasty. There is lots of flavour and it is also cooked perfectly. Their service has also been great during the pandemic. They have taken every precaution to keep their customers safe. They also work extremely hard to keep their customers happy and will do their very best to meet your expectations. I do not know them personally but the team appear friendly and professional.

My last visit here was New Years Eve. I ordered for collection on my way home from work and the order was on time. We ordered: duck, singapore noodles and rice, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, crispy chilli beef and kung po chicken. We also got free prawn crackers. The amount of food we ordered gave us 2 evening meals. After, we both decided that we needed to eat from this Chinese more often.

Tried this new fantastic place tonight , heard so much about it ,thought I'd try for my self took the wife ,had Roast Duck in plum sauce, sizzling beef with spring onions , spicey spare ribs ,mixed chow mien & egg fried rice . Can i say some of the best Chinese food ive ever tasted . The Fortune inn pub/Chinese restaurant is a great new place to treat family & friends and the wife to a great night out . Tuesday nights is quizz night .worth checking the web site as they have live quality music as well . See videos on their website..all in all a great place .dont take my word for it go try for your selves .dont forget to pick up a takeaway menu on your way out .just incase you fancy a cheeky night in with the other half with great Chinese food . Our first visit to the Fortune Inn was not disappointing in any way. Great food, prompt polite service and very covid safe! Only open for take away service at present but restaurant quality nevertheless. Thank goodness we found this gem.

(Two weeks prior to this we'd waited over 2 hrs for an delivery from another well known local Chinese restaurant only to be told that it hadn't even been cooked as 'lots of orders had come in after yours' and not an apology to be heard. Never again will we order from that one...we might as well have gone to China China to get that meal!).

5 stars for the Fortune Inn. Go there, you won't be disappointed!!

January 2022 and just had another great meal from the Fortune Inn....still great quality and service at a really good price. Well done to the Fortune Inn...
