We went in here last Thursday for curry day, to have 2 kormas and a large chicken tikka and drinks, we ordered on the app and while we were sat waiting for our drinks and food, the weekly fire alarm drill occurred. This is where it went down hill, the young lad looking after the area, shouted to all in the area to get up and leave in an orderly fashion, then as we all began to get up he's now telling us to sit back down while he gets on his radio, to check?? Surely all staff working during a fire drill taking place should be told when exactly any fire drill is due to take place?? So after this was confirmed to him by other staff, we were all thanked for being "so good" this came across as totally patronising. Not long after this our food arrived, shortly followed by our drinks. All 3 meals were barely warm, let alone hot, and the pint I ordered was largely left spilt on the servers tray. We even had to double check the menu to see if Mango chutney was still offered with our meals, it was but it was not brought out so we had to make 2 trips to the bar to get some. While we were eating the offerings we were served another table complained about their meal and had a long wait for a new meal to be brought out, so by the time we were asked if "everything was OK" we had eaten the majority of the food so just shrugged our shoulders and off he went.
This is by far the worst food and service we have had in all the wetherspoons we...
Read moreBeing a manager since 2012 I cannot believe the audacity of the manager on today 10 minutes ago
I asked for two breakfasts Asked I quote not to sound facetious could they be hot as previously on every occasion they have been cold
Told by the “ Manager “ If you don’t like it, why do you keep coming back?
If I had customers with problems in the past, I have rectify them for them. They have been repeat customers. I would lose so much money if I said that to a customer simply stating their breakfast in the past have been cold to why would u come here then
Completely unbelievable 1 description to me has said that the person is backwards why would you deal with customers like that?
As I’ve simply stated from a professional point, I would never have any customers if I speak to customers like that
Customer feedback is very important when building up clientel list and repeat custom
This will be reported to head office today. I expect this person to go into training for a professional managerial position customer satisfaction not personal opinion of attitude of which there was none and witnessed by customers.
A simple statement of feedback was taken as a personal insult by somebody when they should’ve been professional
No wonder 3.9 is the Google review. I’ve built up previous businesses from Google reviews and...
Read moreThis is the worst experience i ever encountered at a wetherspoons. I appreciate they may have been busy (although looked quiet compared to the number of seats in use) The seating area is not very clean, its grimy and the tables sticky and not wiped well. I Asked a member of staff for a cloth to enable me to wipe the previous customers salt/drink (plates had already been removed so should have been wiped given safety guidance re pandemic etc). Acknolwedge by staff member but no cloth brought over. Had to ask another member of staff, once able to locate one, poor job done. The server taking our food order was abrupt on the point of being rude and treated us as a commodity not a customer. There was a 30 minute delay for food, which was more like 40 minutes. Once our meal arrived, server grumpy, no acknowledgement of us as customers the food was tepid/cold, could not find a member of staff to bring this to their attention. As our children were hungry by this stage they ate up and we left. Whilst moving around the pub, we moved out of staff way, with or without plated, but not one of 3 different staff acknowledged this and no manners observed by them Toilets were clean only posiitve thing to be said. Wont...
