Nice pub and friendly service. My family ordered number of items from the menu.

I had ordered chicken burger and when I stated eating it , I soon found that it was pink in the middle so returned it. I was given the option of replacement. Since I had some of it, I was no longer keen on trying another chicken. , I asked for it be removed from the bill. I was given 50% discount and was advised it was cooked.

The manager continue to argue and reassure me that I will not fall ill and with regards to refund., we had 3 complaints today and the waiter was having a bad day.

I was not sure what has this do with my complain. The manager continue to argue and offerd me drink instead of refund. I said I was disappointed that you are arguing when I had returned the whole plate back. Eventually after lot of discussion the item was removed from the bill.

Booked for breakfast, strong smell of urine as you walk in but if you go to one of the tables at the back you can’t smell it. The decor is dated and basic but does the job if you’re not too bothered about that. The food was surprisingly very good, not too oily or greasy and tasted really fresh. Staff were friendly but service was nothing to write home about. Would probably go back if I wanted a quick breakfast as the food came out in under 15 mins and as stated before was nice and fresh. Traditional pub on the outside, tacky bar on the inside. We were quite enthused as we walked up to this old looking traditional pub but when we walked in there was an 'ah' moment. The inside is basically a bar and not a great one. The toilets were dirty, run down and just about functional. I can imagine this place was beautiful in its hey day but any character the building had is long gone. Can't comment on the food because we only had a drink but didn't receive the warmest welcome on arrival. Probably...
