The Mission Cafe — Restaurant in England

We took our Nanna here for her 95th Birthday and had a delightful, relaxed time. From the drinks, sandwiches, toasties, chicken wings, fries, coleslaw, scones and a knickerbockerglory, the food was fantastic and of good value; the stylish interior mixed the old with the new - and Nanna loved telling us how she used to run a youth club in the same buildng decades ago; the staff were all so lovely: friendly, helpful, professional and welcoming - they even ran across the cricket field to give me the sandwich we'd asked to be boxed up but had forgotten!

If you'd like to support a fantastic place that's only a short walk away from the main centre of the village, I fully recommend this...

I couldn't wait to write this review. I just finished my big mission breakfast. The place deserves a 5* rating. Straight from when we entered for a breakfast to be greeted by the staff and served us delicious food and until I finished every crumb of it. The ambience is lovely. Such a lovely place. We visited the cafe a few weeks ago on a drizzly November morning and had a lovely breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful and with the cosy atmosphere inside we could have stayed for much longer! I had the vegan breakfast and could not fault it at all, it was delicious - oat milk also available for hot drinks!
