The Mount Inn — Restaurant in England

I have always loved this pub, but sadly after tonight's experience i will never return.

We came for the pub quiz and some food. When we arrived the bar lady informed us they had stopped serving food 1 month ago. As my partner has a medical condition he needed to eat something so we got some chips from the burger van across the road. We were sat right at the bottom of the garden away from everyone and had already had 2 pints each. The landlord came running down to us screaming and shouting like a loonatic. I apologised and explained that my partner had a medical issue and we didn't realise they had stopped serving food and we will put our chips away as we wanted to stay for the pub quiz. He wasn't having any of it loves the sound of his own voice as we couldn't get a word in. He embarrassed us infront of the whole beer garden screaming and shouting at us. Made us leave wouldn't even let us finish our drinks. Marched us out of the pub very aggressively and abrupt. Lovely location and attractive gardens. Hospitable and helpful host and great breakfasts.||||However, our room, which was probably the smallest was cluttered (in part by owners ornaments) and uncomfortable. There were 4 small chairs - all too small to sit on with any ease and a small portable TV which was imposible to view from the bed . The wash hand basin was opposite the bed and not located in the reasonable size shower room/WC. Lovely towels though. Our main problem with the room was the dangerous shower. It was either scalding hot or cold. The only way to escape being burnt was to jump quickly out of the shower.||||I am sure other rooms in the property were bigger and better but I think we drew the...
