The Nottingham House on Seaveiw Street in Cleethorpes is well known and well used watering hole, it boasts a hotel and bars and a restaurant. Its a good old style pub on the ground floor that's split into two small bar's. It's got that good old fashioned atmosphere and that warm cosy feel to it,obviously being a pub it serves alcohol with a good selection of craft beer, wines and spirits on offer, they also serve bar meals in the pub,the menu has something to suit most tastes. It has table service provided by friendly staff, and has it's own restrooms. The wheelchair access isn't great but not impossible and there's parking space outside along the seafront it has a typical old pub seating layout with some fixed seating around movable tables and stools. The restaurant is situated on the first floor, this is closed on Monday and Tuesday's and bar meals aren't available on these days either. Payment by credit cards are acceptable here, and dogs are welcome in the bar.🐶 It has a 4** food hygiene rating. Food review Jan 2018. I chose to eat in the bar and ordered a 12oz fillet of haddock with chips and garden peas and a pot of tea. The food arrived after a short wait, a well presented plate with a reasonably large portion of Hand made crispy chips, the fish was a good a good sized portion. The batter was lovely tasting, thin and crispy. The quality of the fish was really good thick, moist and pure white with lots of flavour.👌I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service here.I also must admit that I was a bit dubious about the weight of the fish supplied and don't think that it was anywhere near to the 12oz,however that aside the quality of it was very good. The price of £12.05 was very reasonable and I would happily...

The Nottingham Hotel is a little jewel on the sea front of Cleethorpes! I have to admit that sometimes seaside town hotels can be a little tired and characterless but the Notts is first class. I stopped over for a one nighter with a mate on a motorcycle tour. Had reservations about leaving the bikes on the road on the seafront but nothing to worry about (parking is limited in the area with double yellows and the small carpark fills quickly) Upon arrival there was a small mix up with our room which had not been made up as a twin, an easy mistake to make, the staff were very apologetic and offered a beer on the house (and the beer here is an exceptional choice of real ales, this was going to be a good night!) The Notts from 6 on Saturday evening was already filling up so looks like its popular and has a great atmosphere. Next door is a curry house which came in handy too. But the feather in the Notts cap is the staff, every single one of them was friendly, professional and courteous. Special mention to Ann the landlady who showed us around our room and sorted the bed quickly and even ran down to the shop to accommodate my mate's allergy to feather pillows, and James and Alison for keeping the beer coming down in the bar. Top class act, everyone, highly...

My fave pub and restaurant in cleerthorpes, genuinely, lovely! Update, restaurant jowls jo linger available, the pub is lovely, the manager is a babe, friendly, chatty, honestly lovely, all staff top notch, plum porter 1st class still, and I have had titanic plum porter in a lot of pubs and beer festivals! Lovely pub, centrally located, sad no food anymore but honestly, if you like a well looked after live real ale, you can't go far wrong, GO!

If you haven’t been to The Nottingham House for food , you really are missing out on a treat !!!! Absolutely beautiful food , delicious , hot and tasty ( we had cheeseburger n chips for our son , and we had the mixed platter with chips 🍟 and omg that was banging !!! Yummy 😋 The restaurant is light and very welcoming , it’s like a home from home feel and a beautiful view of the sea front ( ask for the table near window lol ) Becky (chef) she was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable about food , also a polite and very nice lady who very knowledgeable about the area we live in ! Definitely will be back for food and for sure Roast dinner can’t wait to try that one 🤤🤤 Thank you for making our first experience pleasurable and also getting to know you. See you soon

Great as a pub but dinner shocking. £20 for a lamb dinner with tiny piece of lamb. Plates came out cold. Questionably frozen roast potatoes. When complained chef came out with a vile attitude like she took it personally. Felt like being in an episode of Gordon Ramsays kitchen nightmares. Other diner said beef was tasteless and cheap and veg cold and other guests didn't have nice things to say. Zero atmosphere in the dining room with no background music. Meal ended in a row with chef in front of other guests, who agreed with us. Nice view of Alexandra Road. Stick to pouring pints, for a proper Sunday dinner go round the corner to the fish.
