The Sunflower Bistro — Restaurant in England

Was our first time to the place. To be onist. We forgot it was there. But that aside. We decided to go try out the food. We walked in,and a delitful young lady said hello. Is this your first time. So said yes. I had a cappuccino and my lovely lady had a diet coke with ice. For lunch I had there breakfast. And was aloud to change the sausage for mushrooms. And my lady had poched egg on toast x2. Cappuccino was one of best I've had. As was the food. Its was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. My other halfs poached eggs were cooked just right also. I have eaten at 5 diffrent places this week,but the sunflower bistro was by far the best. Will be eating there again.

Have been in a few times over last week or so,and food is as good as ever had my first lattie the other day and loved it. There doing Christmas lunches for I think around the £12.00 mark. And doing a roaring trade. If you go for a Christmas dinner I suggest you ring and reserve a table. As was there on Wednesday morning and they had a lot of calls booking for lunches....

I shouldn't review this place as it is what you would call a "hidden gem"! However, the owners deserve to have the recognition deserved. Recently renovated, this is a lovely little cafe style restaurant, serving an excellent menu including sandwiches, full meals and even afternoon tea. We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon for their Sunday Roast. It was quiet, possibly due to the weather, but we had booked just in case. The meal was freshly cooked, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. There are options for 1, 2 or 3 courses but we had to stop at 2 as the portions were plentiful. The service was excellent too and we will definitely be returning...

Had the breakfast. I am well known as a very fussy eater. The breakfast was served on a pre heated plate. You know when you are heading for a bad one when the dreaded catering sausage makes a very unwelcome appearance. Pleased too say this was proper old banger. It was all fantastic. Bacon mushrooms excellent, and the scrambled egg was sent from heaven. The staff and the owner were all lovely. This is the best breakfast in Southend and good luck to all the staff at the amazing Sunflower. All the best from Adam Swan and...
