No where to sit they called it an open mic night yet it wasn't very open advertised as just turn up but found out there was a reservation booking system drove all the way from Swindon to sing but got made to feel like an inconvenience and couldnt really perform what I wanted to... Fyi should be called guitar night if it's only guitar acoustic not open mic that's something completely different or Atleast it is at every other one I have ever been to....

What an absolute gem of a pub. Visited relatives in Chippenham and always try to pop in here for a few pints. The selection of cask ales and ciders is impressive as is the quality of the beer. They have also introduced a loyalty card, you receive a stamp for every pint and can get one free one back when you have 10 stamps. My companion and I managed 8 stamps during our visit, just wished I lived more local to fill it up. If you love real ale well...

A true real ale pub. Have only visited a few times when I happen to be in town but enjoyed each time. Frequented by locals, with welcoming humour and enjoying real beers. Each time I have visited have had different guest ales and opportunity to sample and find new favourites. Friendly staff, dog friendly and perfectly down to earth.
