Customer service poor. The attitude displayed by the manager shows she needs some refresher training. Displaying behaviour you ask your proprietors not to do is unacceptable

Firstly we were not asked to do anything we were spoken to in a manner which would upset anyone. This was my FIRST time out since lockdown and had we been advised on arrival about how things were being done it would have been helpful, as opposed to being spoken to like we were children. Sunday lunch was not worth the money. It was a dog-friendly pub, and I loved that as there were many there, but three massive (like massive) dogs let in roaming the pub off the lead and went to pets that I thought were friendly and started growling at me, The dog was behind the bar, and so was the gentleman who was its owner, so I assume he was the owner or a very good local to the pub, Either way, keep your dog on a leash. This place is absolutely delightful. I head down every month, if not every fortnight, for the Sunday roast. From when we first sit down to when we get home, me and my family are always going on and on about how much we love the experience! The accoutrements are hefty, the portions are perfected and the food itself is the kind of roast you'd dream of. Meal customisation is a breeze and the staff are perfect - me and my family have 'our server', and she treats us perfectly every time, though the same can be said for all of the staff!
