Wow where do I start??

Visiting a few old school friends, decided a to order some takeaway. Come across this little hidden gem.

First and foremost I must credit the staff and management here, we messed up our order a few times but they were patient and delivered with no problems.

Everything from starters to desserts were absolutely amazing. Everything was packed with flavours. We had a special request, wanted our Tom yum soup extra spicy, and boy it packed a punch. Just perfect. Panko squid rings and Bangkok fish cakes were my personal favourites along with the requested spicy Tom yum soup. We also ordered a few different curries masaman jumbo prawns stood out for me. I ordered a banana katsu with salted caramel ice cream for dessert. Wow this blew me away!

I was sceptical about ordering a bubble tea from here, as I normally only have it from certain shops. Again they come up trumps, it was perfect.

Overall I would highly recommend TukTuk to anyone from Sandhurst or surrounding areas, I think the delivery radius is up to 5 miles or...

If I could have given zero I would have done. Firstly let me say I totally understand that takeaway restaurants are very busy at the moment but the service I received was beyond terrible. We waited over 2 and a half hours for our order, having rang multiple times only to be told ‘it’s coming, it’s coming’. When I eventually got quite upset with them they admitted that the order was lost, said they would refund the bill and send food out ASAP. They did send some food out but it was not the complete order, a whole meal was missing so my wife couldn’t eat. After 2 days, noticing that I had not been refunded I called to complain again. I was told to call an hour later to speak to the manager. When I called back whomever picked up the phone merely listened to me and then when I mentioned I was promised a refund hung up. I was shocked and disappointed.

As I said already I understand the pressure these places are under, but that sort of service is appalling.

Food is still good, menu could do with some new stuff as it hasn't changed in 2 years, but the main issue is the last few orders I've placed have been sub par, missing items or very very late.

Cherry on top was a few weeks back when I ordered one of the vegan cheesecakes, which was out of stock (have they ever been in stock? I've ordered many times and always been told they're sold out. Take them off the website???). I was offered on the phone something they sold that I knew contained milk. The guy on the phone insisted it didn't, until I said I was allergic to lactose, when he miraculously found the part of the label saying it contained milk.

Will think twice before ordering from here again.
