Treats Cafe — Restaurant in England

I went to University in Bath & W-S-M (2009) and when I found this café, I realised I had it good!

At least three times a week my mate and I would have either a sit-in Treats Breakfast or their takeaway version, a treats breakfast in a tiger baton.

It was served with a cup of tea/coffee and two slices of freshly cut tiger bread/toast

Now, don't get me wrong; I am a bit of a sausage snob, and I like a decent cut of bacon - this place offered it all and for a little over a fiver!

After a few visits, the staff even asked us if we were students and on realising that we were, we were offered a further 50p off their already very well priced breakfast.

I haven't been back for about 4 years, but if it's still the same people running the café, it is definitely worth a visit! if it's not the same people, let's hope that they don't disappoint me...

Not a great experience from when I walked in. The young waitress was so rude, customer service skills were poor. Made me feel unwelcomed, no smile and attitude and tone of voice was disgusting. I then moved table after I ordered while letting another member off staff know that I moved, then when my food was coming out I could her the young waitress saying “ he’s clearly moved without asking”. Then with the food, she just placed it on the table with no smile and didn’t say anything which again was poor customer service. Food was bland, looked and tasted like it was made without love. I 100% won’t be returning. Don’t know how this place has got the reviews it has. Just ate a fantastic breakfast. Lots of choice, tinned or fresh tomatoes, fried or scrambled eggs, I changed my mushrooms for another egg. Got fried bread & 2 slices of toast for a big breakfast. My partner had a gluten free breakfast. The presentation was excellent. We sat at table 6. This cafe is on a back street which we would not have chosen had it not been for the gluten free requirement as from the outside appearance it does not look much & from the inside most people might walk away but it is one of the cleanist I have seen, quality, very quick service, friendly. Very busy, was quiet when we walked in then got very busy, locals must know it is very good. Would definitely go back & recommended highly. Very good value for the money. Many options, from small to mega. I can't praise treats...
