Tokyo Wok — Restaurant in England

Awful food!

First and last visit to Tokyo Wok in Weston super Mare. Ordered egg noodles and veg. Got a box of noodles and 3 measley slices of onions. The menu states, carrots, beansprouts and spring onions. Non existent it was!!

Secondly, unless you would love a tub of thick consistency peanut butter thrown into your noodles steer clear of satay peanut sauce, nothing satay about it, more peanut butter- the thought makes me feel sick. Only had two fork fulls of this and I'm still feeling nauseous. Put me off this sauce for life!! Shame for places that get it right. If your looking for authentic flavours this isn't the place and absolutely not #woktowalk standard (where btw you get what you pay for. Even the basic veg and noodles options, you get a handful of mixed fresh veg)

So disappointing having paid to have to throw...

I do enjoy having food from here even if rarely. It's all pandemic madness. Tables off bounds. Toilets closed. I understand they are just following guide lines but it currently feels a bit too cautious.. the food is good. Always love the way it's in a box. Was very hot and the top half felt full of flavour. The lower half of the box was just noodles. The sauce hadn't worked it's way down the box. The box looks small but packs alot of food. You can judge this by the weight of the box. A tad over priced in my opinion. 7.50 a box. Not sure what to say about the staff. She took my order then payment. Waited a bit then given the box of food if our local chinese take away served their food in boxes it would be better value and a better diner....

Placed telephone order on a Tuesday for delivery and it wasn't until i asked about the BOGOF deal was it then actually applied. They were going to charge me the full amount. The Drinks i asked for were all out of stock. The delivery driver doesn't carry the correct change. So when I looked I noticed I had been short changed, the driver told me he didn't have any 5p's so I thought I'd been given more change. Not the case so I rung up to complain as he drove off without asking whether we had any smaller change. The lady I spoke to told me that all the delivery drivers do not carry 5p coins? It was such a shame as the food was...
