We arrived Malton at nearly 10pm, fortunate to have stumbled upon this restaurant that kindly kept their kitchen open when we asked if they still had food available. We got to try their amazing dishes - tom yum soup, green curry, garlic fried rice - all delicious and comforting on a rainy night, at what we thought were reasonable prices. Kudos to the chef. We were later told the chef was in her 60s and has been single-handedly cooking for this restaurant through the night and has been for a while! We were blown away by how everyone here seemed so genuinely warm and kind. Even after a busy dinner service on a Saturday, they were checking in on us regularly, asking us questions to get to know us. They seemed to have pleasant conversations with other customers too. It felt like being hosted by really good friends, which is such a precious experience to find in a restaurant. Their kindness kept pouring in through the night, offering us drinks and desserts that we sheepishly declined, not wanting to put them out seeing it was near closing time. When we were about to pay for our bill the kind lady brought us Thai milk teas 🥹 You can tell the people behind a restaurant are kind souls with a pure heart when they don’t make you feel like anything is too much trouble, treat you with warmth and generosity even as passing visitors of the town, and would even suggest trying other places in the area that offer good Thai food in their view. Thank you so much for everything. We heard about the difficulties of the restaurant at the moment, such as with hiring, and in spite of this they have done astoundingly well with the limited resources that they have. I wish everyone who visits will get to try the incredible standard of food and service we had tonight. Really hope to return in the future :) Best wishes

I craved Thai food whilst on vacation in Yorkshire and I couldn’t be happier to have found this place. Take it from me, a Thai person who lives in Bangkok full time, Tui’s serves authentic Thai food. The food is Thai spicy and no nonsense — dare I say Tui’s could even beat many Thai restaurants I frequent in Bangkok. The portion was generous and the service was attentive and welcoming. Also, I believe this is the only place in Malton you can find Singha draught beer. Chef Ple, also the owner, has cooked for decades. A very lovely lady whose hospitality made a Thai person like myself feel like coming home to a family meal. She’s definitely the highlight of my Yorkshire trip. Recommended: - Pad Kra Pow - Tom Kha Kai - Kai Dao (off menu but so quintessential Thai — basically fried sunny side up egg but better) Will definitely return next time I’m in Malton.

We came here for dinner tonight as we were turned away from a neighbouring restaurant that didn’t accept walk-in guests. And I’m glad we did! We were welcome by a waitress and took us straight to our table. We ordered quite quickly and before long our mixed starter arrived. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We also ordered prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce on the side. Our main course arrived and the portions were generous to say the least! The flavours were good and we loved it!! The restaurant looked a little tired and could do with being freshened up, but the food was delicious!!!

The food is lovely but as others have said on other reviews the billing is shocking. I ordered a takeaway to be delivered this evening, it looks like they have billed from the restaurant menu not the takeaway menu (nearly £9 different!) but even then it doesn't match the menu published on the website. The amount on the bill also includes a dish they weren't able to provide so they hadn't amended the amount to reflect that that dish was not available. Luckily the delivery driver didn't insist and I'd worked it out myself from the published takeaway menu. I'd be VERY careful before you pay the amount they tell you from this experience and from reading previous reviews. See the picture for my bill - item number 3 (ribs) was not available so wasn't delivered. Was a £5 delivery charge. I can't get any of the published website menus to match the total of £38.80 on the bill!

*update following the owners response - The only bill I received with my order is the picture I posted clearly showing the total as £38.80. My review is accurate in that I did not pay this amount and no issue was encountered when I paid the amount I was expecting to (excluding the item that was not available). I believe an accurate receipt ought to be provided with an order to validate the correct amount was paid - sending this a day later doesn't resolve the main point of my review that the bill I received with my order was not accurate. Had i not worked it out the bill I attached would have been the one I checked to confirm how much I owed. The fact the delivery was out of town is irrelevant as I queried this clearly at the outset and you verified before the order was placed this was possible - and subsequently rang me again afterward to advise of the charge. I stand by the review that the billing accuracy doesn't look to be there and from other reviews I am not the only one to have encountered this. I have honestly stated the facts as I have knowledge of them. If you feel the need to instruct legal representation due to an honest review written from a genuine customers point of view that...

If you're searching for an authentic Thai dining experience in town, look no further than Tuis. This hidden gem truly offers the best of Thai cuisine, and it's quickly become one of my favorite places to indulge in delicious, authentic flavors.

First and foremost, the quality of the food is simply outstanding. Each dish is crafted with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes that transport you straight to Thailand. The vibrant flavors and aromatic spices are a testament to the chef's expertise and passion for Thai cooking. Whether you're a fan of fragrant curries, delightful stir-fries, or refreshing salads, there's something for everyone at Tuis.

One of the standout features for me is the generous portion sizes. You definitely get your money's worth here, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying meal. Coupled with their reasonable pricing, it’s hard to beat the value you receive.

While I have noticed that my food sometimes takes a little longer to arrive, I can assure you that the wait is well worth it. The staff is always incredibly lovely and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

A personal highlight of my visits has to be their Elderflower mocktail. It’s absolutely to die for! The refreshing blend is the perfect accompaniment to any meal, and I highly recommend it to any fellow diners.

In summary, Tuis delivers an authentic Thai dining experience with exceptional quality, great portions, and wonderful service. Don’t let the wait deter you; it just adds to the anticipation of enjoying such amazing food. Treat yourself and pay them a visit—you won’t regret it!

P.s. They have plenty of Gluten free options. They are...
