Venezia Taunton — Restaurant in England

Absolutely love this beautiful Italian restaurant. Went for the first time Wednesday evening to celebrate our 15th anniversary and so glad we did. Food was lovely, staff attentive without being intrusive and a really good vibe about the place with a nice modern decor..We booked our table for 5.30 and were pleasantly surprised to see 2 tables already occupied. Come 6.15 only around 3 tables in the place were empty which says a lot in my book. There were tables from 2 like ourselves to a group of 10 so they obviously cater for all... The food was fantastic. We had brushetta and calamari to start and it tasted so fresh. Both had a risotto for mains and they were full of flavour actually probably the best I've had. (Loved the anniversary wish written on the plates, nice touch 🥰). Although we were quite full at this point we had a sweet too. A creme brulee and a panacotta which both tasted lovely and again very fresh.. All 3 courses a bottle of wine and 2 pre dinner drinks for just under £100. Exceptional value for money especially for the quality of the food. If you are looking for somewhere decent to eat this place is a must. I would recommend booking as it was quite busy. I recently dined at this incredible Italian restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm, professional service by the staff. The waiters were exceptionally polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that everything was perfect from start to finish.

The food was absolutely outstanding. The pasta dishes were rich and flavorful, cooked to perfection with sauces that tasted like they came straight from Italy. The pizzas had the perfect balance of a crispy yet airy crust and fresh, delicious toppings—easily some of the best I’ve ever had.

For my main course, I opted for a medium-rare steak, and it was sublime. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and tender, it was seasoned just right, delivering a truly memorable dining experience.

And the desserts—oh my! Whether you're a fan of tiramisu, panna cotta, or gelato, their selection is divine. Each dessert was beautifully presented and tasted as amazing as it looked.

Beyond the food, the restaurant was spotless. Cleanliness is clearly a priority, which made the experience even more enjoyable. From the ambiance to the impeccable service, this place offers everything you could hope for in an Italian dining experience.

We had an incredible meal for our Wedding Anniversary. It says something that the restaurant was so busy on a Wednesday evening.

There was a good amount to choose from on the menu (some difficult decisions were made!) And the staff were very attentive. The service was exceptional, considering how busy they were, and each course (nibbles, starters, mains and desserts) all arrived really quickly. In fact, as one waiter was taking away our starter plates which we had just finished, another was bringing out our mains. Presentation was really well thought out and inventive, and the food was delicious. Portion sizes were generous (we had to take home some leftovers) and it was even good the next day!

It was really good value for money, and we will 100% be back (we even have the date lined...
