We visited this place after a trip to the cinema as a group of 7 for some food. Most of the tables were dirty until we eventually found one that was satisfactory and waited for the dirty dishes to be taken away, which already had us starting off on the wrong foot. Eventually we went up to the bar to order and asked if we could split the bill. The girl behind the bar said yes and we had to pay separately for each single item that we wanted, which seemed like a really inefficient way of doing things. A queue had started to form and as there was only one till open people were starting to get angry at the 10 minute wait while all of our orders were keyed in and paid for. Read moreWoollen Mill, had a lovely meal and there was 20 of us, we had pre booked our meal, all our food was brought out very quickly also all together so that was great as we all started eating at the same time, every one said it was lovely, and we all seemed to choose different meals and everyone said there meal was great, staff very good at their job and very friendly, we could not fault the food at all, down side was it was very noisy, music was loud TV on, but I am from the older generation, so noisy for me but the younger ones loved it and to be fair it was a Saturday night. Planning to go during the week with a friend to see what the noise is like then, drinks a bit pricey, but you are in the hustle and bustle of the town it's lovely area for a night out, all the people eating and drinking around us were polite and friendly , and there were a lot of young people in their 20s 30s. All in all I would recommend this place, perhaps when you older keep away from it on a...
