This is one of our favourite places as a family to eat and drink each year on the October half term in St Ives . The three members of staff that served and interacted with us though out our meal was excellent. They were all friendly and all looked amazing especially in there appearance ! Dining at The Yellow Canary has a lovely vibe mixed in with a contemporary modern up to date fresh feel. The food is amazing, eye catching coloured flavoursome food . The sandwiches served with the salad not forgetting the frittatas are so filling. The cakes and pastries are freshly made with to many choices to choose from ! My ultimate favourite by far though, is the warm scones served with the gorgeous Cornish Cream Tea ! Just to end my review on the fab place the back ground music was perfect Wham, Bob Marley the lot! I personally can see The Yellow Canary spotted in a few of my special places , Ibiza and Sorrento would be a dream ! See you next...

I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff at the Yellow Canary, as they kindly assisted me when I was in need of some help, just after my 8 year old son stood on a weever fish in the bay. He was crying uncontrollably and we found out that the best way to reduce the pain was to submerge to foot in a bucket of hot water. I had carried him a fair distance and had my 10 year old daughter with me also, it was extremely busy and desperately needed someone to help us. The staff we amazing, they seemed genuinely caring and couldn't be more helpful. They got him the bucket of water and a chocolate brownie! They made us feel welcome and I was so glad that I asked them to help. I bought a latte while he was calming down and it was the best coffee that I had in my week long holiday in Cornwall! This place is great, the staff kept asking us if he was okay and we will be forever grateful. We will always use the Yellow Canary from now on....

Certified gluten-free Pasties that come in bags. They were good. Sadly , because they have to be in bags to keep them Gluten free certified, and then heated up in the bag, it makes them a little bit soggy so you don’t get the flakiness but you also don’t get sick. Some gluten free desserts too. Lovely staff. My daughter with celiac was thrilled to get a Pasty so we are truly grateful! Thank you!!!! We just returned Spring 2024. I forgot we had visited in 2021. The design of the space is lovely. Great tile. The iced coffee was really good, even the decaf. And the staff was helpful and kind. Great spot in St. Ives. They do have gluten free cream tea (if you’re from another country that means you get two scones with cream and jam and tea)

We recently spent a week in St Ives and ate out pretty much every meal sampling a number of different types of places and varying levels of food price/quality. Without a doubt we loved Yellow Canary the most and in fact was the only place we revisited, in fact we went 3 times! They do simple foods like sandwiches (inc Crab), sausage rolls, Cornish pasty, cakes, soup, Coffee/Tea etc but all freshly made and we thought with the best quality, care and attention, they have plenty of staff all very welcoming and attentive. You can order through window or sit in (recommend) If you are in St Ives it truely is a must stop by far the best Cafe and look forward to visiting next time we are in St Ives.
