Shockingly bad. Have had ok service in the past but two days after the Easter bank holiday I visited with my elderly mother and my two young daughters for a light lunch. Asked for a cup of decaff coffee only to be told they had run out of decaff and were waiting for a delivery "as it has been a bank holiday" then ordered two mac and cheese dinners only to be told they had run out of macaroni cheese with the same excuse delivery delayed as it's been a bank holiday. Come on Tesco cafe, you are on the site of an enormous supermarket, surely there's a contingency plan in place rather than running out of supplies. We ended up with a rather bland and soggy southern fried chicken wrap and chips that were all the sharp scrappy ends with dark noggins in. It was obvious that they were short staffed but they should have stopped serving cooked food and just carried on with drinks and cakes. First I've got to say: I love the shopping experience of your stores. And today, you did not disappoint. ๐
Breakfast was well priced at ยฃ6.25, which is also all cooked with Tescos produce; ๐ณ๐ฅ which is a big bonus for fans of the brand.๐ The pot of tea was ยฃ2 which was easily 2 cups ๐ซโ๏ธ
Service was lovely, so thank you to both ladies ๐ซ๐๐ป
