Ordered the homemade beans on toast, you can add extras at £2.50 like a sausage, cheese or bacon. I opted for cheese as I love cheesy bean. The picture attached is the amount of cheese they put on. I was expecting at least half a ramekin full for £2.50, not a tiny sprinkle. I mentioned it to a member of staff who looked at me shocked at the comment, she did offer to get me a bit more but I declined as her reaction left me feeling a bit embarrassed that I’d even mentioned it. She then said she would let the chef know. I wasn’t impressed. The coffee was lovely and it looks like they do lots of nice things to eat but this has tainted my experience so I probably...

This is a destination treat for our family. We love their coffee (locally ground Exe Coffee Roasters I believe), and this past year with lock-down, it's a manageable distance by foot to incorporate a halfway stop at Boatyard for some snacks (whatever they've got left normally by the time we get there). They've got a good space inside to socially distance, clear floor markings for 2m, pay contactless with staff the other side of a screen and a collection point on your way out. We've had pasties, pain au choc, brownies, flapjack and more. All lush. You get what you pay for, eating out is not cheap, hence the treat feeling of supporting this business on our beautiful...

But microwave sausage roll was awful, firstly very soggy too and burnt bottom , meat very salty , unfortunately couldn’t even finished it . Iv ordered peanut butter brownie , love brownies and love peanut butter, but this one was very stale , dry and felt like weeks old . But had a lovely coffee :) And the girl behind the counter was on her phone while microwaving my sausage roll while the queue was big and some people even walked out . Lady’s making bread well done you :) and the lady made my coffee...
