Friendly, welcoming, comfortable and tasty. These are just a few words I used as a tucked Into a soft bacon roll at Jimmy's Cafe.
As we walked in we were greeted with a smile and a hello. They also walked us through the menu and any deals they have on. They are even happy to talk about the coffee they use, and what taste notes go with them. You also get a choice of regular or large coffee, which some other coffee shops don't offer.
As we sat in the comfortable seating area (chairs with backs!), the coffee and food came out hot and was very tasty.

Read moreAs a member of a monthly coffee morning organised by the local branch of the Coop Funeral Service for the bereaved relatives I attended the local Church Hall in Cowick Street, Exeter last week only to find that access was unavailable due to the community hall having the floor serviced. The CFS staff very quickly took me and other attendees a short way over to Jimmy's Coffee shop where we were made most welcome and took over about half of the cafe.
