It's a bit like the Faulty Towers of pubs. Rudest landlord imaginable who treats customers like something he stepped in. Seems hugely put out and annoyed by serving customers and doing his job. Lost my coat at the pub and asked the landlord repeatedly if he'd seen it but he hadn't and refused to let me look as though he thought searching for a coat was a criminal offense. Called the next day and it turned out my coat was there (probably would have found it sooner if he hadn't kicked me out of the pub the night before for looking for it) and when I went to pick it up he boomed out a hearty "don't come back anytime soon" which I gladly agreed to because I had no intention of returning anyway. My advise is for people to steer well clear of this pub. It's one of those local pubs for local people and if you're a new face they treat...
Read moreBeing a very very picky fussy eater ordered a build your own roast for lunch today. What can I say ??? Absolutely fab. We had a few during lockdown which were lovely but todays excelled. We had the beef which was cooked to perfection, spuds crispy and fluffy inside and gravy was to die for. Everything was cooked nicely as should be and very tasty. Can highly recommend to anyone wanting a roast and not wanting to actually cook it themselves. We'll done to the chef and all who contributed to the meal. 10 out of 10....
