Tapitapa — Restaurant in Exeter

Awful takeaway never Again! We phoned to make an order for collection and the man on the phone put me on hold for 20 minutes so I hung up and just ordered through just eat. Arriving home with our food what we ordered on the website was seafood paella, meatballs 1/2 portion and king prawn in chilli and garlic full portion. What we had in our bag when we got home was no meatballs just a paella and prawns which the prawns were tiny and didn’t taste nice at all we didn’t eat any of it just threw it in the bin and the paella was so salty we were up all night drinking water! It also had no prawns or mussels (for a seafood paella very poor) what it did have which I’ve never seen in a paella in my life was a crab stick which was made to look like a huge king prawn but was defiantly not! This restaurant appears to be struggling. Decor and cleanliness are suspect, the waitress was very pleasant as was the chef/(owner?) but the menu was limited, the food salty and neither staff were wearing Covid masks!

The tuna tasted like it came from the Jurassic era and indeed, it extracted its revenge at 3am. Mind you, my girlfriend didn’t eat that dish and was similarly afflicted.

Waited at the door to be seated for 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Restaurant was half empty at this point. Another 10 minutes before a drinks ordered, Cola was served at £2 in a multipack can and not even opened by the host. Another 5 minutes for a food order - it took a long time for anything to come out, meatballs fell apart, prawns were overly salty, omelette was nearly an hour after the first dish.
