Panini's Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Fenland District

Couldn't believe it could be this bad! Luckily we saw the funny side. Ordered 2 panini's and were offered salad and onion rings to which we said yes. Or freinds came to join us and ordered the same. After about 10 minutes the waiter came over and said " sorry, we have run out of panini's". This was at 12.45pm!!! We were offered sandwiches with brown or white bread. We ordered brown. Guess what, after another 10 minutes we were told they were out of brown bread!! We eventually got white bread sandwiches but they forgot the salad and onion rings. We ate up, paid and left, but strangely enough we didn't...

We went here 2 weeks ago on Tuesday. Two young ladies were serving. Service was incredibly slow despite there being one other person. I think the other customers must have given up. They had two sandwiches to make and two coffees which seemed to take a lifetime. When we asked to pay they were too engrossed in their conversation to acknowledge us and took a time to take our payment! Have since been back as we thought we would give it the benefit of the day out and I have to say nothing has changed. They forgot part of our order and the blond young lady there seems very sullen...

Panini's is pleasantly located on the fairly recently upgraded town marketplace.Good choice of food and drink at sensible prices with the option of eating alfresco overlooking the market on wednesdays and saturdays.Quite often populated with locals ( mainly retired) which gives the place a buzz and a convivial atmosphere to eat your breakfast ,sandwich.panini whatever. You can even have a glass of wine.Service could be described by some as 'relaxed' but everything is made to order so be patient. ...
