Three of us had cottage pie tonight 30th Nov 2023 for dinner to save cooking. Food was really nice, cottage pie was very tasty. carrots broccoli and peas which were cooked aldenty and was very hot, well all the food was hot, it came with a small boat of onion gravy which was nice, side order of chips that were very nice as well. Staff and service was awesome and it felt at home with a log fire. Definitely will recommend and be visiting...

Off the main road in March but definitely worth seeking out great reasonably priced food and drink with friendly staff two bars one really set up for locals having a drink still friendly for visitors.The other set out out for dining large outside area I would recommend booking a table if dining as it can get busy only criticism veg portions a bit small will definitely call...

Longstanding community pub on the outskirts of the town. Revived to it's former glory around 10 years ago, this - along with the Ship - is THE place for high-quality real ales in March (in fact all year round LOL!) If you are into food, the menu is varied and reasonably priced. There is also a pool table and a heated smoking area....
