Absolutely amazing place!

Friday night hunger kicked in and after trying 2 KFCs and 2 other chicken places that were showing "open" on Google Maps (they weren't), I almost lost my faith finding decent quality chicken; however, that was until I came across this place...

They were open and their menu had pretty much anything that a peri-peri chicken lover wants. Amazingly, they managed to completely make me give up on the big branded chains that are just the same s...tuff, read on...

The staff was very friendly and the food was cooked fresh, which meant that it was still was warm by the time I got back home, as I did take away the food.

The 'special' chicken present in the wrap is easily probably the best I have ever had, hands and hat down. I think it'd been marinated very well and that really paid off! The wrap itself felt very balanced in terms of ingredients and tastes, unlike other places that makes them very dry or too meaty.

The wings had quite a distinctive and very pleasant taste and smell. Again, I think the marinade it's been sitting in really pushes things up a notch. The staff put these in bags that had quite a signifcant amount of peri-peri sauce, which meant they stayed juicy and tasty.

The peri-peri chips can be too spicy for some people, but you can ask to have less condiments on them and you will get along with them just fine. For me, it was perfect as I love spicy food a lot! If you want to be safer, order wedges or normal chips.

With all these, the prices are amazing! I just hope that with the whole craziness that pushes prices up for everything that they will be able to stay in business for longer, because they're indeed a hidden gem!

Definitely recommended! I know my review is usually not something that you would find on a chicken restaurant, but my first purchase was a great success and I simply cannot stop myself from sharing with other people.

After a night of questionable life choices, my friends and I stumbled upon GRILLET, the ultimate spot for post-party grub. If you’re looking for somewhere to indulge in some deliciously greasy comfort food while reflecting on your night out, this is it.

I went all out and ordered the mixed donner chicken and lamb with garlic naan bread and peri peri chips. Let’s start with the chicken – honestly, a revelation. Juicy, flavorful, and the kind of taste that makes you forget how much you’ve had to drink. It's like they marinate it in pure happiness.

Now, onto the lamb donner meat. Greasy? Absolutely. Delicious? You bet. But it’s the kind of greasy that makes your stomach send you a passive-aggressive email at 3 AM asking, “Why do you hate me?” I could feel the grease setting up a riot in my stomach, and let’s just say I wasn’t looking forward to the aftermath.

The peri peri chips, oh boy. They were a bit of a letdown. Slightly hard, like they were having an identity crisis – are they crispy, or just overcooked? And the peri peri seasoning? Let’s just say it was playing hide and seek, and I lost. A bit more peri peri love would have gone a long way.

But hey, the garlic naan bread was there to save the day. It was the hero we didn’t deserve but desperately needed. Soft, garlicky, and a perfect vessel to soak up all the rogue juices from the meat.

Overall, GRILLET is the place to go when you need to soak up the night’s indulgences with some seriously tasty (and seriously greasy) food. Your taste buds will thank you, even if your stomach won’t. But that’s a problem for future you, right?

I purchased one medium platter grill chicken with 2 sides ,5 hot wings and 1.5 litre cool drink for 17.99 pounds. The Food was decent and good, but I would like to bring to notice the service provided was horrible. When I visited shop, no order was processed but they said you need to wait for 20 minutes then 40 minutes and finally they gave preference to regular customer and made me wait for 1 hour. Also they mentioned you can select any cool drinks and they gave option as coco cola and diet coke only but you mentioned you can select any choice in your pamphlet.. I asked the people in the counter and they gave me 3 numbers of 330ml tango(1 litre) and also asked to give my suggestion to the owner but they neglected it... Then I left and came to ask bill and people in counter response is not good in seeing me again... My humble request is try to accept (or) consider any suggestions given....If possible try to listen to customers issues... My friend suggested to visit as shop had a good name, but I feel food quality is good but do give proper response to customer...Hope in the future, will consider good...
