A maelstrom of chaos
Staff scurrying all over the place, leaving their stations to perform trivial tasks which left food piling up with nobody to hand it out
Rows and rows of fries, boxed up and going cold
Staff prioritising Deliverpoo orders, even though there were no drivers to collect them. At one point there were 8 large bags of food, just sitting on the shelf. I couldn't believe the cold drinks were put in with the hot food. Surely this makes the warm food cold and the cold drinks warm? Disgusting!
Half the restaurant is essentially closed as it is reserved for non-existent delivery drivers and staff to take breaks
With a little organisation this could be done so much more efficiently
Make the delivery drivers wait outside and have another screen with the order collections so delivery drivers can collect from the drive through lane when they are ready. Oh, and don't start preparing their food until the delivery driver has arrived-I'm sure it's possible to work with the app producers to do this. Take care of your customers in the shop before trying to make food for customers who aren't in the shop
I think the time has come where I can safely start throwing my own rubbish away, but there were 3 members of staff guarding the bins so I had to leave it on the table
To add to this terrible experience, my Coke™...
Read moreOver salting of fries for kids food and when you try to mention it all you get is a bad attitude from the manager who previous was throwing food or paper at his staff at the bagging area in full view of customers . The manager Calem was acting like a bully and when I tried to speak to him he tried the bully approach with me so called him pedantic as I had my daughter with me and then he said that was swearing at him and then continues to try and belittle me instead of offering an apology for over salting the kids food ! In 30 minutes of being there four other customers returned food as their orders were incorrect ! His attitude to me was put his hand up in the manner of talk to hand as the face ain’t listening ! As I asked for his name to complain he covered his badge out his hand uk and turned his back !!! Unlucky my 8year old had already taken his name ! So Calem yes you wanted your five minutes of game but here it is and a complaint has gone to your head office about your bully active and not even offering as you should of an apology to the customer and I’ll look into why this has happened not that’s what we do !!! No it’s not it’s kids food where you preach you are lowering salt ! Well if an adult could not eat them due to the amount of salt than how...
Read moreSo, we rolled up to McDonald's late last night like a couple of exhausted, hungry heroes. The order was pretty ambitious: a double quarter pounder cheese meal, a banana milkshake, an apple pie, a McFlurry, chicken strips, and a plain double cheeseburger which came out with no seasoning. Yeah, you read that right—no seasoning. It looked like someone had punched the burger into submission, like it was a personal vendetta.
We asked for takeaway but, of course, they laid it out on a tray like they were trying to set up a fine dining experience. We begged for a bag so we could pack it ourselves, because that was going to be the highlight of the evening.
The McFlurry? I ordered Smarties, but somehow got caramel. I guess the universe was trying to tell me something. Took the food to the car, only to realise my burger was wrong. I got a single quarter pounder instead of the glorious double. Back inside I went for the burger swap, looking like a McDonald's detective on a mission.
And the fries? Oh, they were like old friends—stale and reheated, like they’d been sitting around long enough to develop a personality. It...
